BOKOM

The duo of Konstantin Samolovov and Boris Shershenkov "Bokom" explores not so much the nature of the sounds themselves, as their movements in space and interactions with it. The musicians first played together at the Spina!Fest1 festival in April 2016 in the Rotunda at Arts & Music Centre of Mayakovskaya Library, Saint-Petersburg. They also managed to work with the equally interesting acoustic spaces of the Vertical gallery in the Contour Family loft and the sculptor Anikushin's workshop.

Live electronic sounds created by means of radio communication and multi-channel audio systems is reproduced at various places in the room and is combined with the moving acoustic sound of drums, percussion and objects, forming a spatial sound picture.
